PLU School of Business Student Organizations

The School of Business supports many student organizations that extend the classroom experience. Student organizations host campus activities, study businesses, network with professionals and provide other programmatic events.  Many organizations promote a service component as part of their goals.


American Marketing Association

Sponsored by the Puget Sound Chapter of the National American Marketing Association, allowing students to learn and apply marketing techniques.

Beta Alpha Psi

An international honorary and service organization that promotes the study and practice of accounting. Members must maintain a 3.0 GPA.

Beta Gamma Sigma

An international honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB. Membership is by invitation.

Gary Baughn MSF Student Fund

Provides real-world investment experience to students of the Master of Science in Finance program.

Mary Lund-Davis Investment Fund 

The fund’s objective is to provide real-world investment experience; it is open to all students.

PLU Business Network 

A professional organization that provides networking and programming events to its membership; open to School of Business students and alumni.

Society for Human Resource Management

Sponsored by the Northwest Human Resource Management Association; open to all students whose purpose is to develop, improve and apply successful human resource management skills.
